TTD Sarva Darshan Tickets
The majority of temple proceedings are at a halt due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. The temple authorities and state government request pilgrims to worship from their homes to curb the spread of the Corona Virus. The nationwide lockdown also assisted in stopping the spread and keeping the numbers down. However, the Country is trying to get back to daily activities, thus opening the temple doors. Devotees have the privilege to visit various temples around India for worship and festival purposes.
The TTD has, however, made a health safety conclusion of issuing Darshan tokens online. This will help reduce a large number of devotees at the Darshan counter. The congestion encouraged the spread of Covid-19, making it difficult for the country. The online Darshan will be issued from 25th Sep 2021 at 9 am. The TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy announces the move explaining it to keep the devotees safe. The online platform is open to all eligible devotees.
The online shift comes after a month of temple closure due to the pandemic. The Sarvadarshanam ticket will be issued to the set number of pilgrims per day. TTD initially allowed for 2000 tokens daily with restrictions to Chittoor district (AP)) residents only. The restriction didn’t stop devotees from other states leading to an increase in token number. The temple authority has approved 8000 Sarva Darshan issues from 26th September to 31st October for every devotee.
All devotees visiting the temple with an online darshan ticket should present a two-dose vaccination certificate or Negative-test report. Note the test should be three days before darshan.
